Generated dictionary

The dictionary becomes an output.

Hoch and related dictionary material are preserved, but BantuOS changes their role. The OS generates inflectional coverage and uses existing dictionary entries as validation targets and editorial content.

Method

Generate the forms. Curate the meaning.

The OS can generate legal forms from primitives and templates. Human editorial work remains essential for examples, idioms, register notes, etymology, and semantic disambiguation.

  1. Treat Hoch as a validation target and editorial source, not the runtime source of truth.
  2. Extract primitives and editorial content separately.
  3. Generate inflectional entries from templates.
  4. Compare generated outputs against workbook entries.
  5. Emit discrepancy reports as punch lists for lexicon, constraints, or templates.
  6. Preserve examples, idioms, register notes, and editorial glosses as curated L7 content.

Source position

Hoch is a target, not the engine.
